Aroma & Flavor Characteristics
Apollo is primarily used for bittering, but when used late in the boil or in dry hopping, it can contribute some distinct and pleasant aromas:

- Citrus (especially grapefruit)
- Resinous pine
- Spicy

- Earthy
- Dank
- Tropical fruit (in some expressions)
Brewing Characteristics
- Alpha Acids: 15–19% (very high)
- Beta Acids: 5–8%
- Cohumulone: ~24–28% (relatively low for a bittering hop)
- Total Oils: 1.5–2.5 mL/100g
- Notable Oil Components:
- Myrcene: ~50%
- Humulene: ~15%
- Caryophyllene: ~10%
- Farnesene: <1%
Usage:
- Primary: Bittering (early boil)
- Secondary: Aroma (late boil, whirlpool, or dry hop for citrus/pine character)
